Chrompower recently shared this awesome story of his grandfather, who returned to Diablo 2 20 years after he first played it. Apparently he's re-enjoying it so much he got tendonitis from playing almost 10 hours a day, but instead of taking a break, he just constructed a better armrest so he could continue playing without pain instead.

He also has a very specific way of playing, as he clears each zone completely and keeps it all clear of enemies! Chrompower helps him out as well, as he gets asked to clean up the stash every once in a while and gives him some loot when possible, so it's now very much a family tradition! A new patch for D2R has arrived and it fixes seveal crash-related bugs, including the very frustrating queue related one and more. We have a new patch for D2R which should finally put a stop to the recent server issues plaguing the game, however it does introduce queues in high-traffic periods.

The patch is currently live on PC and is coming next week on consoles. October 15 Source A new patch is now available for PC only. This queue will pop up after the title screen when opening up the game. The queue will only appear during high traffic windows. Players will be shown a number on where they are in queue. We should note that the higher your queue number appears, the slower the number will refresh in the prompt. The number is still refreshing in the background, so we do not recommend leaving queue as this will create further delays to you entering the game during these high traffic windows.

We expect a patch in the next week that will implement the same queue functionality to consoles. He's found at one end of the four-pointed Halls of Vaught, the lowest of the three Halls levels reached through Anya's portal in Harrogath, in Act Five. Once you have the keys, stand in Harrogath, on Hell difficulty, place one of each in your Horadric Cube and convert them. Which portal opens first is random, but if you do all three in the same game you will not get the same one twice. For this reason it's recommended that you have 9 keys to begin with, 3 of each type, so you can do them all in the same game.

It's also recommended that you stand in different places so you'll spread out the three portals, so they don't overlap and make selecting the correct one 'uber difficult'. You'll be adding a 4th portal once you've completed these three, to Uber Tristram, so save room. A red portal will open, the fourth in that area if you've done them all in the same game.
